Speech by the President of the Association of African Universities

Since its establishment in 1997 and over the course of 28 years, the African University for Advanced Studies and Scientific Research has strived to become one of the largest international universities that actively participates in comprehensive national development in all countries and in all fields.

In addition to its effective and positive contribution to advancing and developing the educational process and establishing a cooperation protocol with the International University of Sudan, which I had the honor of chairing.

Given the quality of distance education provided by the African University for Advanced Studies and Scientific Research, within a democratic and non-racist environment that fosters creativity and provides opportunities for constructive competition, the university attracts students and researchers from various Arab and foreign countries.
In light of the political, economic and social changes, as well as the technological revolution that we are witnessing these days, we are moving towards new horizons for the future.
The university's colleges seek to chart the path for its graduates to a promising future for the development of countries and their advancement towards a distinguished world.
With such changes, all university faculties, as well as master's and doctoral degree holders around the world, contribute to the development of their societies in all areas of life.
The African University and its representatives in all countries are striving to follow this approach in the midst of this global competitive atmosphere to create a fertile and encouraging environment for students and researchers to graduate distinguished cadres that compete with many graduates of other universities in the labor market.

To be qualified and competent cadres who participate in the development of their country.
To achieve this, the university is currently making rapid strides toward modernizing and developing its infrastructure, academic and research programs, and advanced administrative methods to advance distance learning as an integrated system that includes highly qualified faculty members and an excellent administrative apparatus, all of whom are committed to shaping the future as a beacon of knowledge and a source of creativity.

This is in line with international standards for educational quality and accreditation.
As President of the Association of African Universities, I am proud of what this prestigious university has achieved in the fields of distance education, scientific research, and administration.
I also thank all the embassies of the countries that authenticate the graduation certificates, as well as the foreign ministries of the countries that give it legitimacy, responding to calls for development in distance education to achieve its mission and realize its goal as a distinguished university.
I also thank them for launching the largest global university website and platform to promote distance learning.
